Spring Soccer 2013

Spring soccer this year was pretty fun! We had some pretty crappy weather at first..snow even! But it ended up with some great sunny weather and fun times for the kids!

Corey's team this year split into 2 teams. The Premier team and the Select team. Corey made the Premier Team and they decided to go up a league and try U11. The Select Team stayed in U10. They both got 1st place in their divisions. They all practice together which I love. And I love her coaches. They love what they do and they love our girls. They also get into it as much as I do  and the other parents. Corey's team did not lose this season. They won all their games but one and that one they tied. They did have to forfeit after one of their games that they did win because of a silly technical problem on the roster! But they are younger in their division and smaller, so we were so proud of them!

Corey plays half back and sometimes defense. She is the energizer bunny. That is what her coaches think of her. A halfback has to go back and forth on the field, so it is tiring! She does really well. She loves the girls on her team. They are all her friends! She does get hurt alot because their team is pretty tiny and they play alot of bigger girls. We are trying to toughen her up! It was so fun to watch her games. They got really intense too! And I loved bringing my boys to the games too because they made some good friends with all the players siblings and they had alot of fun!

I didn't get very many pics this year! But I did get a few on the last game day! Cade did really well this year too. I think him and his friend Mathew will try out for competitive next year! Cade played forward, defense and goalie. He does equally well at all three positions. He is really coming into his own as an athlete now as he is growing up! He doesn't mind running now and he is really loving soccer. I love that! He was fun to watch this year! Their team was pretty good this year! They didn't win every game, but quite a few!
