"Creative Mom Day", Prego Pics, & Pics with the Cousins

Bold

I am still experimenting with this whole blog thing. So here we try it again!

So the other day, we had to buy a new washer because our 0ld one was leaking, BIG TIME! So we had this huge box in our garage and I had a great idea to build a puppet show for my kids. I didn't want to spend the $100 and buy one from a magazine. Who's to say that my kids would get bored playing puppet show after a week. So we made our own! We went to the dollar store and to "Hobby Lobby" and bought a few things. The next day, when they were at school, I spray-painted the box. Then when they got home, we did some decorating. I was pretty proud of myself. We also made SOCK PUPPETS! It was pretty cool. And Corey said to me," Mom, this is so much fun." She said it like 5 times. I was on CLOUD 9. I was having a GREAT DAY!
I also had my kids, be my photographer and take a few "PREGO PICS" of me, this week! I am 31 weeks tomorrow, Thursday! This was the week, I went into pre-term labor with Cade last time. I am feeling OK, so wish me luck, that I make it till at least 38 weeks, or until after Christmas. I went to the DOC today and he said everything looked great. I only gained 2 lbs. this last 3 weeks and not 7 lbs. like last time, and 6 lbs. like the time before. Finally I am tapering off on the weight gain , just like I did with Cade. I was getting worried I would be the GOOD YEAR BLIMP soon, if I wasn't more careful!
We also had a fun weekend at Steph's house, this last weekend, in Utah. And we took some cute cousin pics. It was quite the chore to get it accomplished, but we did OK and got some cute pics!

Halloween Fun!

All the activities leading up to the actual "Halloween Day" are so much fun, but the actual holiday itself, was so much more fun as a kid. The whole day the kids are asking, "Is it time yet?," then walking from house to house, being 30 weeks pregnant, was not the greatest, and then dealing with candy control after the holiday is a struggle. Cade actually threw up that night, from eating too much candy. I did not really think that could happen. I remember my parents always saying that, but did not really think it could happen. Oh it did! It was projectile all over the wall at 4:00 AM. It was great fun! On a more positive note, all the decorations, decorating pumpkins, school parties, and seeing my kids get excited, is all worth the actual dreaded night.

This year Corey was Sharpe from High School Musical and Cade was Tony Romo from the Dallas Cowboys Football. Team. Matt had a little persuading Cade into his costume, but this year, I just let Corey decide. I did not want to fight it. She actually looked super cute.

We had a fun Halloween Party and Corey had some fun activity days at school; her favorite "Crazy Hair Day."

So this is my first blog and I hope everything works out. Here we go! Let's give it a try!
