My kids Growing Up Too Fast- Soccer Games, Birthdays, and Baby Casen Smiling

So it is 12:30 AM in the morning and I am blogging. I am so going to regret this tomorrow, staying up this late. But there are no interuptions and I can get so much more done. But I might need a nap tomorrow. I have been so tired lately, ever since the trip to CA. I was joking to Matt the other day about still having jet lag and being an hour ahead of CA and how it was still affecting me. It is actually called "I enjoy my time at night, when all the kids are asleep." But my body needs sleep!
So my kids are just growing up so fast! Corey is 6 in 2 weeks and she is playing soccer now. She absolutley loves it. She is on a team with her 3 best buds, cousins Reygan and Ryley and her friend Shaina. She is getting better and better every week and so aggressive too. She, along with her cousin Reygan each scored 2 goals last game. I actually got teary-eyed when she scored because I knew how much it was going to help her self- esteem and I remember what it use to feel like to score. I was so happy for her. And they actually won that game. Their previous 2 games, they were CREAMED. But who is keeping score, right? She just loves it and can't wait till the next game. In fact, next year, Cade will play and he will get to be on her team. Boys and girls play together at this age. Matt even got to be Corey's coach one game, when he was subbing. Corey loved it, but she said "dad was embarassing me when he kept saying, over and over again, to just kick it." She was like "We know dad. We heard you." It was fun to see. Matt was pretty good at it and he looked like he was enjoying it. He works with Corey a little bit here and there, teaching her the basics. He really is a great dad and I love it that he loves to be at all the kids events.
Cade just turned 4 and of course he wanted to go to Chuckee Cheese. So the morning of his birthday, which was Saturday, we made breakfast, opened a few presents and then that night we went to Chuckee Cheese. He had mostly girls at his party. He did have one friend Brody and his cousin Jaice. It was fun and I think the kids all had fun, but it wore me out. By the end of the night, I was SO READY to go home. I cannot believe he is 4. Now we are just waiting for them to come down with a sickness. You know how Chuckee Cheese is; so FUN, but a germ infested place.
The kids all fell asleep on the way home! I did get lucky and the baby slept the whole night at Chuckee Cheese. And we did get to visit with our friends too. And now that he is 4, we are starting to potty-train at night time and OH BOY IT IS FUN! The first night, he woke me up 3 times to change his pants. Corey would just sleep through it, but not Cade. So it sucks, but it needs to be done. He is 4 now and a BIG BOY! He loved his birthday and all the attention he got at school, church, and at home!
Casen is also growing. He is 15 weeks on Friday and he is so scrumptous. I could just hold him all day, if I did not have things to get done! He actually just rolled over tonight for the first time. But he is smiling and cooing and laughing and I just love it! He does have his days where he wants to be held all day or his days where he has gas or is not pooping and those days are terrible, but I am so enjoying him and definitely am not done at 3 kids. I want another in a year or two! I do not want him to grow so fast. SLOW DOWN!
I love being a mom and now I better go to bed or I am not going to be a functioning mom tomorrow!

California Trip- Sea World, Em's Wedding, & Easter Morning

We drove to California with our 3 kids, one of them only 3 months and we made it. It was not too bad, except that Matt had to drive the whole way, so I could tend to the kids. The baby did great and the kids did OK, except for the annoying "Are we there yet?" 50 times. Or " How many more SpongeBOB shows till we get there?" We did a few fun things....went to the beach with Steph's fam (they live in CA now, close to my parents), went to Sea World, visited friends, ate out at IN-N-Out 5 times (Annoying) and of course EM's wedding. My kids loved Sea World and we did pretty good with 3 adults and 7 kids. They all behaved really well and the weather was awesome.
Em's wedding also turned out so pretty. IT was so neat to see them in the temple together. You could tell they were so ready for this and that they had prepared a long time for this. It was special and Em looked so pretty. Her dress was gorgeous. Steven also looked so handsome. And we got alot of compliments on the bridesmaid dresses that we were so worried about. I will get some more pics up later. Being a mom of 3 and especially a new baby, I only got a few limited pics. The weather turned out great for the wedding and it made me depressed to come back to cold Logan. We do finally have warm weather this week and it feels like spring is here to stay!
The bridesmaids all went and got pedicures. That was fun. And then me and my sisters all went out to eat, without kids (Well breastfeeding baby had to tag along, but slept the whole time). It was a special memory and of course we have no pics of it. We also got to know Stevens fam better and they are special. Em is lucky! I also got to see alot of people I have not seen in awhile at the reception. It really turned out so pretty and I think Em and my mom were pleased. Oh and I forgot to mention that we met Mike's girlfriend for the first time. She is so pretty and easy to talk to. I can picture her as one of the girls in the fam. We will just wait patiently and see!
I also go to see a few friends, 2 of who just had newborn babies. They thought Casen, 11 lbs. at the time, was huge compared to their 5 lb and 6 lb babies. It was good to see them too. They were troopers to let me come and visit when they were 2 weeks out of the hospital and 1 week out of the hospital. I love that we are all becoming moms together.
My kids were pretty wiped out every night. They all slept so awesome, even the baby!
We did have to leave and travel back on Easter. So we got up early and did a quick Easter egg hunt and breakfast and were on our way. It was an enjoyable trip and I know I will be sad this next week, like I always am after I leave my fam, because I miss them! And having Steph in CA is going to be really hard too. At least I have Em in Utah still and Becca (till she graduates)! I love vacations. Coming back is a real DRAG.... laundry and REAL LIFE!
