Anxious....And Trying to Pass the Time

My mom and sister Becca flew in on Friday(And Becca's boyfriend JR came up too from Salt Lake) and Em got here today, Sunday and we have just been trying to be patient and pass the time. I am very anxious and excited for Monday, when they are suppose to induce me. I will be 39 weeks on Monday and at my last appt I was already 2 centimeters and 60% effaced, so my dr. said he would take me on Monday, Jan. 31st. I hope it happens tomorrow.

Anyway, we have just been hanging out and relaxing, (Along with a few chores like mopping...) but in between doing that we have done a few fun things.....We have really been into puzzles. We bought a few new ones and have been busy doing those. And then today, we actually went on a walk, around my hilly neighborhood, to see if it would help me go into labor at all. But no luck. So hopefully tomorrow will be the day! It has still been really fun having my mom and sisters here...just keeping me company.

This Kid is so FREAKIN CUTE!

I can't stand it! This kid is so freakin cute! And tomorrow he is not going to be my BABY anymore. (I am suppose to go in to deliver our new little one.) He is the easiest baby and has been so much fun! Like I said before, he has really gotten into a few TV shows lately and he love to lay in my bed and watch HIS SHOWS. He is obsessed with TV now. He loves Diego, Ummi Zoomi, and The Bubble Guppies. And I swear he is really learning alot from these shows. Whoever said TV didn't teach kids things? If he keeps watching Dora and Diego, he might know Spanish soon! But I have been trying to get pics of him like this and they never turn out. My mom has been in town a few days now and got these pictures of him. I love them! He relaxes like an OLDER MAN with his hands behind his head and he always does this. It cracks me up. He even does this when I put him down for a nap, in his crib! I am not sure if he is just copying Matt or if he really thinks this is super comfortable. Anyway, just had to post these!

Ski Day with Dad

On Saturday, Corey got to have a fun ski day with Matt at Beaver Mountain. We have not been able to take the kids this winter because I have been pregnant and it is hard for Matt to take both the kids alone, where Cade is still learning. So he decided to take Corey, alone, this time and he will take Cade another Saturday. They had alot of fun! And this snowman they found, in the canyon, and decided to stop and take some pics.

Matt said Corey did awesome. They did a few runs on Little Beaver, and then they decided to buy a lift ticket and go up Big Beaver. Matt even got some video of Corey and I was impressed. She does great. They went from about 11:00-4:00, so Corey was wiped out when she got home and her legs have been sore ever since. He was impressed, and thinks that now he could probably take both Corey and Cade by himself. The Big Beaver lift fits 3 people and the lift operators really help the kids get on the lift. So Cade is excited to go up in a couple weeks, but it looks like I will have to wait till next year. I am so thrilled that my kids are learning so young and doing so well. Now I need to learn to ski with them. I can snowboard, but have always wanted to learn to ski too. Excited to have this baby and get active again. I love it that Matt is willing to take our kids up and help them learn skills like this....especially on his day off. Even Matt was wiped out and he wasn't even skiing hard; just helping Corey here and there. He also said it was clear and a warm day. Perfect weather!

Corey's Winter Recital

Well I was so glad that I made it to Corey's Winter Recital.....trying to have Matt get Corey there with costume, hair and make-up, would have been a disaster. So yes I am 38 weeks and was hoping to make it to Corey's recital and I did. It was great! She is at the age, where she can get dressed by herself....backstage....into her next costume...and so I got lucky and did not have to stay at her 4 1/2 hour rehearsal on Friday. I did get to go early and save seats at her actual performance....on Saturday, with 2 kids...which was not bad, but by Intermission, Casen was DONE! Matt met me there, a few minutes before it started and luckily Corey was #2 and #7 out of 35 dances, so Matt got to see Corey dance and then take Casen home at Intermission. It was not too long, but Cade kept asking me when the FINALE was. It was so funny! I think he asked me like 20 times....no JOKE. But he was the one who chose to stay!

Corey did a cute jazz number with her friend Shaina and a cute hip hop number with her cousins Reygan and Ryley. She did really well and she even changed by herself, backstage, in time for her 2nd dance. I am trying to teach her that she can do stuff without "Mom always being there." So she did great!

Anyways, afterwards, we found Corey and Cade always loves to give her FLOWERS. She was so excited and ready to go home and relax. Corey always gets a little tense before a performance and I can always tell she is glad when it is over, but SAD at the same time!

Finally...Finished Project

I finally finished this project. I got this project in a bag back in November 2010 and I finally got around to finishing it. It is a photo tree. I decided not to do it xmas theme, so I could display it all year. It took me about 5 hours, by the time it was all said and done, but I was so excited with the result. I can even flip the pics around, if I get bored of that certain pic on the front. The tag flips around. SEE....I CAN BE CRAFTY WHEN I WANT TO BE!Posted by Picasa

A Fun Saturday with Dad & Cousins

The kids had a fun Saturday because Dad was around. I am no fun right now because I am too prego to build a snowman or go skiing or go snowmobiling. So Matt was home today and the kids got to go and do a few fun things with him and I took some pics. I love it when Matt actually asks to do these things with the kids. I don't even have to prod him to do it. It really makes me love him even more and realize what a great dad and provider he is for us. He first took the kids on some short little snowmobile rides in the backyard, which at this age is good enough for them. And Casen had his first snowmobile ride this winter. (Can't remember if he went last year). Anyway, he liked it....he wasn't smiling, but he wasn't crying. So I did not really know what to think of it. But he seemed to like it. And Corey and Cade liked it too. The snow was really slushy and wet, but the kids still played and got soaking wet and loved it. Casen even cried when I made him come inside after too long and take a nap. His hands kept freezing up because he would not keep his gloves on. But they also built a snowman with dad. Matt could not believe how they could just roll up the snow and make the biggest snowman ever. They even tried rolling a huge ball of snow until it got too heavy to move it any farther. But with this warm weather, I am sure the snowman will not stick around for long. Then later on, Matt took the cover off and let the kids swim in the hot tub, with their cousins. I think they swam for 2-3 hours. (No pics of that). So they had a fun day with dad and cousins and it gave mom a nice break too. I guess it is good they had a fun Saturday, because today is MLK day and the kids have school off and we are just lounging....not anything crazy and fun planned. But they can't complain; Kids always enjoy a day off of school, RIGHT?
