So we FINALLY finished our basement and it feels so good. We actually finished it before my parents came, June 15th. YEAH! It was so fun having them stay as our 1st guests down there. My kids love it and actually play down there alot. I moved all the toys down there. And their rooms are so clutter free now. It feels great. Matt's awesome theatre room is down there and so he comes home at night and spends alot of time down there. We have had alot of movie nights already. And it is so fun to have people over too for little movie parties. We still have a little decorating to do, but it is coming along. It seriously lifts a burden off the shoulders to have it done, although there is a new part of the house to clean now! But so worth it. I am feeling so thankful for a husband who is handy and gets motivated to get things finished too. And we did do a few things upstairs too; our very first bedroom set, since we have been married 10 years and a new front room couch set. We love it and plan on saving money now. NO MORE SPENDING! Not trying to brag in anyway. Just feels good to finally get some new stuff and WOW what a deal Ashley Furniture was having.... 50 % off and our family discount because we know the owner. We did well with prices. FINALLY FINISHED!
