Our summer is just flying by. It is crazy! We first had swimming lessons for 2 weeks, which was fun because we got to go to the pool everyday and be with friends, but I was glad when it was finally over because I got nothing done during those 2 weeks.
Casen and Cade took this summer. Corey is done with lessons and Crew might take next year. Corey had a bunch of her friends that took at the same time and so did my boys, so we had some fun friends there for the whole 2 weeks.
We also had baseball with Cade and softball with Corey, that just barely got over. It went through the whole month of June and 1/2 of July. It was fun to be able to be at the beautiful ball fields on summer nights and let the kids play on the playgrounds, but sometimes we had 4 games a week and it was a little much. Cade hit a few homeruns, mostly because of the other team over throwing the ball and him stealing bases. But he did really good. He loved to play catcher and he did great on 1st base too! He is super fast too. And Corey did great playing softball too. She decided to play this year because her soccer coaches were also her softball coaches. The girls actually pitch to each other, but Corey still did fine! She played the field well too! She is quite athletic and Cade is turning out to be quite athletic too. My boys loved going to Corey's games too because all their friends are there from the soccer games. They have made a cute little groups of friends that hang out at the soccer games. I love it!
