Corey's Soccer Tournament- Cache Cup

 Corey #4

Cade had a great season doing Coach pitch for the first time. He really loves it. We had to miss a few games because we were in CA for Auntie Becca's wedding, but for the games he was here, he did really well and he loves it. We had Coach Kevin Duke again and we just love him. He is so good with kids and he makes it so fun for them.
The last 2 games of Cade's it has rained. The one game, we had to go and sit under the pavilion for 15 minutes until it stopped raining. And this last game the wind got so bad the boys hats were blowing off and the rain started coming down so hard, we had to end the game and finish saying good-byes under the pavilion too. I hate when the weather does not cooperate.

Corey had a soccer tournament this weekend too called the Cache Cup. It was fun until the final game. But the weather was too hot one day, and overcast another day and then the final game it was a downpour. I guess crappy weather makes for funny memories, but rain puts me in a bad mood, when we are standing out in it for too long and I am trying to keep track of a toddler. Plus the final team we played was super good, but they were pushing like crazy and playing dirty. Our girls were taught to not play dirty and so they were super frustrated. The refs were not calling anything and our girls were bummed. They only beat us 1-0, but the girls were super bummed. I think they all felt cheated. I hate it when teams win that play dirty. We need some younger refs out there, not these blind old men, that don't call a thing. Bummer for the girls, but it was great practice for them to play together. Love watching soccer!
