CasenMans 4th Bday

Present from Grandma Nanny and Norm. Couldn't wait all day, so we let him open it in the morning. It is actually a present for both Crew and Casen for their birthdays.

 Matt wasn't too pleased about getting the boys a kitchen. It was my idea. They love it! They got enough guns and swords and army guys for Xmas. 

We set the house up for Casen's party. These are the cupcakes that Crew dumped off the counter, the hour before the party. I wanted to cry. We had to try and fix them up a little. They dumped inside this plastic thing, but upside down. SUCKED! 

He is my Little CHAMP! He still loves Lightning McQueen and Cars. Holding strong!

We tried to get the boys to play a few games, but they just wanted to play swords and guns in the basement. Boys are so CRAZY! It was cute! There were 9 boys playing down there....6 friends and my 3 boys!

Birthday Cake Time!

It actually took him 4 big blows to blow out all 4 candles.

This was his idea! All my kids like to do this. We just helped him!

After the party, we went to dinner at Casen's favorite place...Panda Express. He loves their orange chicken, which is amazing because he is my pickiest eater!

AHHH! Bday is over! Time to relax! Can't believe my baby boy is 4. Holy Cow! 

Christmas Day

I can't believe how fast Christmas has come and that it is actually here! The kids put out a few treats for Santa. Wow! Santa is really going to have to go on a diet after the holidays. Too many good treats! 

The kids were in bed about 9:00 PM Christmas Eve and they all slept on the floor in Casen's room upstairs, except Crew was in his Crib. I was surprised at how fast they fell asleep. Matt and I probably made it to bed by midnight, just watching TV and enjoying the peace and quiet! 

Crew was probably in our bed about 5:00 AM but fell back to sleep. He had no idea what Christmas was really all about. It was just another day for him. I guess the other 3 kids woke up at 5:30 AM , but did not come into our room till 6:30 AM. I told them sorry it was not time to wake up. Crew was still sleeping. So they went back into Casen's room and watched TV and played on their electronics. Then they came in at 7:30 AM. Crew was still asleep and Casen had fallen back to sleep. So finally at 8:00 AM we all woke up and headed out to the Christmas tree. 

The older kids were so excited. Casen was still TIRED and Crew had no idea why everyone was jumping around in excitement. He just joined in!

Corey actually did not get out of MR. Peeps PRANK. He did go home with Santa that night, but he did not let Corey get away untouched! He was nice to her and drew some hearts on her face. They sure will miss Mr. Peeps. I wish he was here all year, so I could use that threat of him watching their behavior ALL THE TIME!

We just vegged all day....ate breakfast, called family members, played with our new treasures and watched movies! Winnan and Norm also came up and brought the kids their gifts. This basketball gift was from Nan and Norm. Cade loves it!

Then later that night, around 5:00 PM we went back over to Nan and Norm's for leftovers and some more visiting. We also gave Nan and Norm their well-deserved gifts. Nan got a NEW KINDELL and Norm got a gift card to best buy for a new IPAD. Nan and Norm are really getting with the times. ALL THIS NEW TECHNOLOGY! 

LITTLE STINKER!

Christmas was a HIT. MOM is exhausted and ready to get in her PJS and just relax and do nothing! We went home that night about 9:00. Toph and Brit came up with Halle and we watched a movie while the kids played till midnight. Good thing we have another week to catch up on sleep because my kids are lacking in that area! I did get to talk to my family on and off throughout the day and I DO MISS THEM ON CHRISTMAS EVERY YEAR, when we are not together.
