Cedar City Summer Games- Soccer Tournament

Cedar City Summer Games was a great tournament. Even though we didn't win this tournament, it was so much fun! We stayed in Winnans' house in St. George, but we still did some fun stuff with the team in Cedar City. We decorated our cars for the tournament. We went out to eat together. We went to this aquatic center in Cedar City and went swimming,  and we also went to the movies and saw How to Train a Dragon 2. We played some tough teams. We made it to the semi-finals and ended up losing in a shoot out. It was painful to watch. It was super windy and so it made it hard to play. But we totally outplayed them and should not have lost in a shoot-out. Corey was sad too because her penalty shot went way over the goal and she was really bummed! Only 2 out of our 5 shots made it in! So guess what Kurt worked on at practice the next month?....Penalty Kicks!

This tournament was just great! They had a night where the girls got to walk around the track with all the other teams. They had a band and the girls got to dance. They even had fireworks. It was alot of fun! I left my boys at the condo with Matt that night and wished I would've brought them. They would've loved it!

We ended up playing in a consolation game that was just terrible. We beat this team so badly and it was such a boring game, that it just didn't feel right that we weren't in the championship game! It was a bummer ending to a great tournament! After the awards ceremony, our family went straight on to CA to try and make it for Mike's graduation that next day!

Cute little buddies at the soccer games....

Eating at Dickeys with the twins!

Had a slumber party at the twins new house in St. George.... Reygan, Ryley, Morgan and Corey

Crazy boring consolation game that they killed at!

Awards Ceremony!

And to top the trip off, my husband and boys love the DI, especially the DI in St. George. I think they seriously went there 3 times in a 3 day period. It's a little bit obsessive. Me and Corey get so bugged!
