Casen's Preschool Graduation

Casen finished preschool this week at Crayon Corner in North Logan. He loved that preschool and he loved going with his friends Cole and Ben and Halle and Ezra and Abe. He had a great carpool. And he loved his teachers. So yesterday he had his preschool graduation. It was so cute. I had to leave Crew with Grandma Christy because he was not feeling well the day before.

But they sang us some cute songs. And they got their graduation papers. Then afterwards they got popsicles and got to play. And don't forget, take some pictures too!
I am sad preschool is over for him, but I am so happy he gets to go to kindergarten next year! He is so excited!

Sky View Track Meet

Corey was really nervous, once again, to run against the BEST OF THE BEST MILE RUNNERS at the Sky View Track. But she did great! I  think she makes herself so nervous, she gets a little tummy ache. 

Anyways, she did great. The first 2 laps, she stayed in 5th place and I think she was getting nervous that she couldn't catch up. But then the last 2 laps, she passed 2 people. And ended up in 3rd place. She really looked like she was struggling this race. Not sure if she felt her best!

But she ended up with 7:02. Aly Phillips from North Park got 1st place with a 6:30 something. Morgan from Corey's soccer team got 6:42 and Corey got 3rd with 7:02. I thought she could beat Morgan. I did not realize Morgan was that fast. But I didn't know if she could beat Aly. She is fast with long legs. And Corey looked little out there compared to the other runners! (Greenville is not a true mile. She got 6:35 at Greenville and 7:02 at Sky View. So I think the Greenville Mile is short at least 1/2 a lap.)

But she did awesome and I think she is glad it is over!

Grandma Christy and Grandpa Allan also came to watch! And so did daddy!
