Fourth of July- Monday

Monday was a pretty busy day, but I like it that way on holidays!

First we met Grandma Nanny for the Hyrum parade. And we also met some of our other relatives...Cheryl, Melissa, and Marnie and their kids. The parade was actually perfect because it was not too hot and it was not too long. It was only about an hour, so that was perfect. And Casen was not running out by the floats which was reassuring and nice! Then we ended up at McDonalds after the parade for lunch. The kids were then ready to go  home and rest for a bit. I needed to get the little kids a nap before we did some more fun stuff!

We then needed to cool off, so we went in our own little hot tub/ pool in the summer. I even got Crew in and he loved it. It was just cool enough, but not too cold. Then after we showered and got ready for the night..we decided to go to Chilis for dinner. I was craving their chips and their brownie dessert. The kids were pretty good.

Then afterwards we drove up to Lewiston to go to the fireworks. It was pretty cool. Casen was a little nervous at first becasue it was his first time seeing fireworks that  up close and that loud. He finally warmed up to them. He said he was scared! And Crew was watching them and didn't seem to mind them. He even decided he was hungry mid-fireworks and was actually able to eat and not be distracted. It was kind of amusing!

We are having fun, but we sure miss our daddy! It is more fun when he is here with us! But we are glad he is having fun in Alaska!

Glad you are finding the fun! I say we dump all the kids with the dads when they get home and you, me, Christy, Marsha, and Stacey all go out to a movie and dinner. We need girl time alone-right!?

I actually left the kids for a couple of hours with Addison today and just went to a few stores. I needed some alone time. I get worn out!

You seem to be managing great! When the guys get bck let's do the fish Cookout again- this time over here. The mosquitos aren't around yet.
Happy July!
