Thurstons Come To Town

My sister Steph and her family decided to come to Utah for Thanksgiving week. So we first met in SLC at Becca and JR's apartment and decided to have dinner and just hang out. It was on a Sunday so there weren't alot of places to go and we just figured we could keep better track of the kids if we were in someones house, instead of a restaraunt.

So we had pizza and salad and fruit for dinner. Brownies for dessert. We went to the park for a bit but it was too cold. We talked and let the kids color and play some games I brought. Then we did a SECRET SANTA thing for the kids. Me and Steph brought some gifts for the kids to play a game with. They all seemed relatively happy with their gifts. It was a fun night! The cousins were so excited to see each other and it was fun to be with my sisters.

Steph has 5 kids......Faith 12, Taylor 10, Wright 7, Tristan 5, Aspen 1.5 and she has another one on the way! Holy cow.....6 kids.

Then mine....Corey 10, Cade 8, Casen (almost 5), Crew (almost 3)

Steph brought her kids up to my house for the next 3 days, before she had to go back down to Draper and spend Thanksgiving with her in-laws. She came up Monday afternoon and I went and pulled my kids out of school early and let them miss Tuesday also. They never get to see their cousins and they wanted to spend every waking minute with them. My sisters kids had the whole week off. They are living in CA right now.

So we hung out alot at home, but also made a point to go to a few fun places with the kids. Monday night we made spaghetti for dinner and then took the kids to the jump zone. They had a blast and luckily no one got hurt! Me and Steph got to talk a little bit there and also got to be "Mama Bears" to some older kids that were pouncing on our little kids in the dodgeball pit!

The next day we took our kids to the fun park during the day. They loved that. Guess we didn't get any pics. They all went roller skating or on the scooters. They also played games and went on the play zone! That night we had Taco Bell for dinner and then we all went over to Sky View Rec Center to watch Corey play some indoor soccer.

Wednesday afternoon we took the kids ice skating and they loved it. Me and Steph even took the little kids on the ice in their strollers. Steph was super impressed with the kids walkers because it helped her little kids be able to skate with all the older kids. She was loving the quaint ECCLES ICE SKATING Facility!
