St. George- Easter Weekend

So Easter Weekend was the start of my kids spring break and we wanted to do something fun. So we decided to invite Em and Becca/Jr to come with us to St. George. We wanted my parents to come to because we rarely get to spend Easter with them, but they were not able to come this time. But we still had so much fun! I think my family might of warn out my sisters and JR.

We got there really late Friday night and basically just had to unpack the car and get the kids in bed. It ended up being kind of a late night because we stayed up and talked till 2 AM. But it was still fun!

Saturday was the day we wore out my sisters and JR. I guess knowing you don't have a whole lot of time there in St. George, we wanted to get a lot done, on Saturday. I went and got Mcdonalds for breakfast for everyone and then afterwards we all got ready and went over to the water fountains at the town square. Well there was also an art festival that Becca wanted to go and see there too. So we stayed there for about 2 hours. We looked around and let the kids get wet in the fountains. We also PEOPLE WATCHED for a good amount of time. There are some strange people in the world. Its great!
Then afterwards, we went over to the Washington Pool and swam for a few hours. We then came home and kind of got ready for dinner. We went to Pizza Factory. Love that place. Best breadsticks ever! I could eat them all day! Then afterwards we went to this fun park in Bloomington, with the kids and rode bikes and played football and played on the playground till DARK!
And the least favorite part of the day, was when we had to finish the day off at Wal-Mart to get food for Easter dinner. We really were stumped about what we should make and eat for Easter dinner! Who wants to spend a lot of time making and cooking food when you are in a warm place like St. George and you can be outside? So we ended up deciding on BREAKFAST for Easter! We had another late night with the kids too. I was pretty warn out after this trip!

Sunday, the kids woke up about 7:30. I made them play their IPADS until 8:30 because Becca and Em wanted to see the kids do their Easter Egg Hunt and it was still pretty early. So we woke everyone up at 8:30 and the kids were done with their Easter Egg Hunt in about 5 minutes. Then we all ate breakfast and got ready for 11:00 Church. It was a smaller ward so we sure got Welcomed there...by about 5 people! They were all so nice!

After church we made French Toast and Eggs Breakfast for our EASTER DINNER! It was really good. We also made Brownies and Ice Cream for dessert later! That day we did just lounge around and relax. Went on a few walks, caught lizards, took naps, etc. Then Becca and JR and Em left around 7:00 PM. After they left, we took our kids and went over to the indoor pool and let the kids swim for a bit. Then we had a late night dinner at FIVE GUYS and then went and got the kids in bed! Crew was so tired at the end of everyday that he would just crash on the couch. It was so funny and it sure made it easier to put  him to bed every night! No fighting!

Monday, we got up and went to Bear Claw and let the kids ride their bikes for a bit. Then we headed back over to Bloomington Park to play. And of course we had to hit IN N OUT at least once while we were there! Then we had to go home and clean and wash sheets and go HOME! SAD! We left to go home about 5:00 and hit RAIN the whole way home! Depressing! We had so much fun and it is so fun to get away and be in warm weather for a change! So glad my sisters and JR could come too! Em even brought Mya and the kids loved her too!

We went on lots of fun bike rides and walks around the neighborhood. And we loved to just sit on the driveway and soak in the sun while the kids played! The best!

A car that Matt found with an Obama sticker on it! He made Casen rub his butt on it! So funny!

Matt and Corey and Cade having lap races! Corey almost beat Matt!

We finally got Casen to go down the slide! He was scared of the big water bucket dumping on him, even though he was already soaking wet!
