Winter Sports

It is always fun for the kids and for Matt and I to have the kids involved in some sports during the winter. Since we don't get to ski much with the little ones on Saturdays, it is fun to look forward to weekend sports. And it gives something active for the kids to do too! Cade was able to play basketball this winter with his friend Mathew. They were on the Lakers. It was fun too because we got to see Lance and Corinna and their boys every Saturday! Cade also got to practice every Tuesday with his team, which helped his skills and got him some exercise.
They had to play at the middle school this year, so their baskets were a little tall...10 footers. They are suppose to play on 8 footers.  So the score was not very high and Cade did not score a ton, but he really learned to dribble better. And they also played full court this year, so that helped with their dribbling too!
It was fun to see Cade play!

The Spectators!! Family Supports Family!

This game was pretty fun because Cade got to block his GIRL FRIEND Stella from school!!!

Corey also got to play some indoor soccer which is of course my favorite to watch. Indoor is so much faster and the field is smaller. But it is so fun to watch their ball skills improve and to watch them use the wall and bang around on the wall! I love to watch Corey's team play. They are just getting better and better every season. They won all their games and got 1st place in this league. SO cool to watch and visit with friends!
This was the game against Malosi. 5-3. It was a tough game!
