Crew's Bday finally arrived. Ever since Casen's bday a few weeks ago, he has asked me every day if it was his birthday yet. The day is finally here, Jan. 31st, and Crew, my baby, is 3 years old. Holy crap! Where has the time gone? He has been so fun!
The morning of his birthday, we let the kids miss the bus, so Crew could open a few of his gifts from the family. We actually had to wake Casen up for the occasion. He opened up a little ride-on bike and a new pair of DC shoes that he has been wanting. He got to open some wrestler guys and this adventure camping kit. He also got a board game. He was so excited for his presents. Now we just had to wait all day for his little party to start that night!
That afternoon, me and Crew went and got his cake and his balloons and some food. That night, we weren't really having a party. We were just inviting a few families over for dinner and cake and ice cream. And the kids could all play too! It was a hit. We invited Nan and Norm, Mandys family, Lynleys family, The Thatchers, and the Sadlers. It was yummy. We just had tacos/burritos. And it turned out pretty good. The kids were able to play for a couple hours while the adults visited! Then Crew got to open a few more presents and then we had cake and ice cream. He got some more Ninja Turtle stuff, Power Rangers and Hot Wheels. He loved it all. He loved having all the kids over to play too. I love that he loved his little chill party. It was a Lightning McQueen Car Party! Still can't believe he is 3. SAD!!!
