Finally Beat the Aggies

Corey's fall soccer season is coming to a close...only two more games. We are in the playoffs right now. They are so fun to watch and so fun to watch the girls get better and better every year...So last year we played this team called the Aggies. The hard part is that  the girls are friends with alot of the Aggies players at school. So it makes it hard to put their game faces on and play them like opponents. Last year the Aggies were not as good. I think one game we beat them 7-0. It was pretty bad. Well this year they have a bunch of new girls on their team and are quite good. We played them this past summer, before the season started, in a tournament. It ended up being us and them in the FINALS and they beat us 1-0. It was sad to see our girls all crying. They are very passionate about playing this team. I think because it is their friends they want to beat them. The Aggies are also VERY VERY AGGRESSIVE and they push our girls around ALOT! And our girls are so nice that they get their feelings hurt getting pushed around by their friends. So we had to talk them into being aggressive and pushing a little too. We kept telling them that they will be friends tomorrow at school and not to worry about it. This is what competitive sports is all about.....

Anyway, long story short...the AGGIES are #1 in our league this year and are very good. But they know it and are a little too confident and cocky. We are #2. So we just played them last week and GUESS WHAT? WE beat them 3-1. I was so happy for our girls. We really played the best game we have ever played and they outplayed them. It was awesome! I think the new purple cheetah socks, the new cheetah purple hair bows and the purple spray paint in their hair really helped. THEY ARE GIRLS...COME ON! You always do better at everything when you are feeling pretty and confident and have NEW STUFF on. They were so pumped up. It was the best feeling! So if the girls win their next two games, which they should, we can take 1st place. It would be so awesome for them. I love Corey's team and the girls on it are just adorable! And we love their coaches too. It's been a fun season!
