Halloween Night!!

Halloween Night we had to try and feed everyone before it got dark and they were itching to go trick-or-treating. We took a few pics before it got dark! We fed everyone soup and rolls. And then we had to say good-bye to Corey. She went trick-or-treating with her cousins and a friend just in our neighborhood. And so me and Matt took the boys in our neighborhood too. We left about 6:30 and started down our hill. Dad met up with us on the 4-wheeler. I had the stroller with all the jackets. I love to walk because it keeps me warm. Otherwise I freeze! We were meeting our friends, the Andersons at the bottom of the hill. They have 3 boys, the same ages as our boys. So they wanted to go together. We ended up seeing a lot of our friends around the neighborhood. We even followed another group of boys in our neighborhood, the Higginbothams. It was Tom and his boys and Jon Robison and his boy. It sure was a lot of boys. Our whole neighborhood seems to be boys!

Crew lasted about and hour and then he was ready to ride on the 4-wheeler for a bit and then in the stroller for a bit too! Crew was pretty fast, keeping up with the boys, but he was running at full capacity. I was surprised we did not have a fall and teeth knocked out again. I was even having a hard time keeping up with them! Casen and Cade and their two buddies Riley and Mathew went for another hour or so and we just walked with them, while I pushed Crew in the stroller! Lance Anderson, their dad, was with us too! His wife was home handing out candy!

It was an eventful night. Always glad when its over! And now for the next 3 weeks, I have to monitor candy and make sure teeth are brushed every day! Lets pray, NO CAVITIES!

Fun Costume Dress-up Days!!

The kids had a few fun dress up days. Casen got to dress up two days at his preschool, Wednesday and Thursday, actual Halloween. He loved it. These are his friends Cole and Halle.

Casen got to dress up again and wore his same costume. This time Ben is in the picture too!

Corey got to dress up for her dance classes. She was Spider woman and her twin cousins were Bat woman and Robin. Cousin Teisha and Aunt Lynley made their costumes. So cute!

This was the actual morning of Halloween and the kids got to dress up for school, so we took a few pics. Corey wasn't allowed to wear masks, so she had to leave her mask at home! Cade was a ninja and so were my other 2 boys. They wanted to copy Cade and he was OK with it!

We took a pic at the BUS STOP. Can you say FASHION SHOW? We were missing the Bundersons and the Andersons.

These were the cute little SUPER HERO GIRLS!
Me and the boys decided to go and watch the Halloween Parade at Greenvillle Elementary and the boys wanted to wear their costumes too.

Fun Fall Fun @ Grandpa Maughan's Old Wellsville Farm

We were having a hard time finding a weekend to go to a corn  maze or do something FALL and fun! Corey had been to this Bear Bottoms Corn Maze in Wellsville, last year, with some friends and really liked it, so we decided to try it out! And luckily it stayed open after Halloween. Come to find out, it was actually on the property that my Grandpa and Grandma Maughan use to own in Wellsville. So it was bringing back lots of memories!

We actually made it there on the last night it was open! It was Saturday, Nov. 2nd. And surprisingly it didn't get too cold. We got there about 6:00 and stayed till about 8:30. The kids first played on this cool Hay bail jungle gym thing. It made me feel claustrophobic or like the bails were going to cave in! But the kids loved it. There was a little slide that Crew fit the best in. And there were these nasty mattresses that the kids could jump on. The  mattresses were sketchy too and creeping me out. It was dark outside but I could still tell they were dirty. This was the free part and probably the thing the kids liked the most!

We also went through the Smaller Corn Maze for about a half hour.We came out the entrance, which I am not sure if that was where we were suppose to come out. But I am pretty sure there was not an EXIT! I don't love corn mazes. I always feel so out of control and I am not good at finding my way! Especially with ALL MY KIDDOS! They are depending on me and it is stressful!

We also took a Spooky Barn Ride through my grandpas old farm. It was neat to make the connection and to have the old memories, but it was sad to see how run down the barn and the property was. They use it for corn and a sod farm,  not for animals. It was dark too and I could still tell it was junky. So I am sure it looks even worse in the daytime. But it was still fun to be there again and to remember all the fun  things we did there as a kid! The tractor driver even told a story about my grandpa on the ride. It was cool! My kids loved it! They even had cute little fireplaces, a movie screen running,  and Cheap Hot Chocolate. It was a fun place. We would go again next year! They even had a Haunted River Trail for older kids. My two older ones would've liked it, but the two little ones would've been scared, so we didn't go!

Sad Fall is over and winter is here!

First winter day. Look what we woke up too! Sunday morning, Nov. 3rd. UGGH! Already??

Watched Tyke and Jordyn the other day, just for a bit and it was fun to see these two together.
Tykers and Crew!
