Kids Imaginations

The kids had Monday off of school and it was a nice day for Logan. So the kids wanted to play outside. I was laughing because of course Corey had to invent something to play...she couldn't just ride bikes and call it good. So she invented some Kids Fun Fair and made pretend money. And we had to pay for wagon rides and truck rides and games and kids care. It was pretty cute! The kids played hard all day and I think they enjoyed the day off from school.

Really Cade? And umbrella? He needs the sun more than any of us and it was not that hot!

Casen was so crazy on this little bike, I made him go and get a helmet on and change into his junky shoes. He wears the toe out so bad from Braking!

Cade's Go Cart. They actually rode it all the way down the hill to the mailbox to get my mail. I thought for sure I would have to go down and pick them up, but that trusty thing made it all they way back up the hill.

Crew has the ultimate cabin fever and loves to be outside. He was loving it! Very cautious about the driveway and the street, which I was glad, but who knows how long that will last. He didn't dare leave my side!

Ooh and water bottle were $1.00

We found these gunny sacks at Wal-Mart the other day! The kids were loving these. Even Casen could do it. I was laughing watching Casen. He looked so cute!

And then there were tears because someone was not WINNING the race! And so we had a 6 year old tantrum going on here!

And here!

Priceless Mommy Moments

So I admit being a mommy can be overwhelming at times. Sometime I just wonder if my boys are ever going to nap at the same time so I can squeeze in a nap. Or if my days will ever get more exciting than just breakfast, getting kids off to school, bath time, lunch time, homework time, carpool time, dinner time, homework time, and bedtime. Oh and did I mention squeezing in cleaning and errands into that mix. Motherhood can get monotenous. But it is moments like these that I just treasure. Moments that I will always remember and moments that I never want my babies to grow up.

Crew is 1 years old now and becoming so independent. And when he discovers something new for the first time and loves it or is so proud of himself, it is hilarious. He found that he can stand on this stool in the bathroom and see himself in the mirror. It was so funny! And look at that ghetto booty. So freakin cute!

So proud of himself!

Grandpa Butt!

And Casen is at such a funny age too! He repeats everything the older kids sing and say and so it sounds funny coming out of a 3 year olds mouth. Everything he gets in trouble for now, he will say... "Mom it was just a joke." And how can you not laugh at that? He is also obsessed with puzzles. So I have been doing alot of puzzles with him. He is so good. He is going to be like his Auntie Becca. She is obsessed with puzzles too, but like the 1000 piece ones. Not me. I stick with the 100 piece ones or the 48 piece ones. But Casen likes me to help him get the outside done and the inside started and he then finishes them. He is awesome!

This is just this week. We bought a 12 pack of puzzles and have 10 of them done. 2 more to go!

Kids really do bring alot of joy to the lives of parents. Gotta love them!

Fun with the Girls

We have had some fun times with our BACHELOR GROUP! We all get together to watch the Bachelor and the Bachelorette.....not really to watch the show, but more of just an excuse to get together and hang out and make fun of the drama queens that do the show. Anyway, we have an occasional party that is not just BACHELOR. This night we had a Jungle Themed birthday party for 4 of the ladies with Jungle PJS and Scarves and outfits and Yummy food. We enjoyed each others stories and company and ate good food and opened presents and did I say EAT GOOD FOOD! And to top it off, we did finish it off with watching the Bachelor. But these girls are the best and so fun! I love them because I can be my complete self around them and we all accept each other for who we are, perfect or not, and no one ever gets offended. Just a fun group of girls !

I had these awesome Cheetah High Heels that I was wearing, but you can't really see them and some cheap Wal-Mart Cheetah PJs. Pretty fun!
