Here are a few of our new family pics that we took about 2 weeks ago. My sister-in-law Mandy took them and of course I love them. They always turn out so cute! These are just a few of them. I needed some in time to make my xmas cards, so she just edited a few. But I will post some more, after Xmas, of the rest we took. It was a cold and rainy day, but we managed and Mandy did a good job editing them too. I also have some cute ones she also took of Crew a couple months ago. They were his 20 month pics, suppose to be his 18 month pics, but I procrastinated. They turned out super cute too!

A Few Fun Xmas Things
Since Crew broke my camera a couple weeks ago, I have been in the process of getting a new camera and learning how to work it, so I have not got too many pics. And the ones I have got, were either on my phone or Corey's IPAD. So here are a few fun things we have done this holiday season so far.
Taking Pics by MY grandparents graves and leaving some holidays decorations to honor them!
The 3 older kids making gingerbread houses. (We put Crew to bed. This is not a task for a young one. Last year Casen stuck a candy up his nose and it made for a long night.) Making this little gingerbread village was quite the task. I have found that I do not have as much patience as I get older. I about gave up on these little houses. Corey had to step in. They were falling apart and I was sick of doing them all myself. I threw a little tantrum saying "These are not even my gingerbread houses. Help me out a little." I don't even like gingerbread houses. They are hard. They are messy. We have no where to put them when we are done. And the kids just pick at them for 2 weeks and make a mess. I think next year, we will just stick to the milk carton gingerbread houses I use to do as a kid. Way easier! Do I sound like scrooge? Sorry I am still having flashbacks from that night and they are a PAIN!
This was the finished product and the next morning OUR LITTLE ELF, MR. PEEPS was getting into it!
I took my two older kids to go and see The Christmas Elf Play that they do up at the University. (It is put on by the Pickleville Playhouse) It is their favorite and mine too. It is so funny! One of these years, we will get Matt to go. But Cade sat on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted. Corey is TOO OLD. She gets embarrassed!
Just getting ready for play to start!
Excited to LAUGH!
My Little Stinker
(Pics of the little boys in T-Shirts I bought them, to show to Grandma Christy and Papa.)
I have talked about and posted funny things about my little boy Crew because he is a CRAZY
BABY. But even though he is a CRAZY BABY, he is the cutest baby. He really does get into everything and break a lot of my things, but he is really FUN too. Rocking him to sleep today and kissing his little Alvin Chipmunk Cheeks, I got sad thinking he will grow up soon and not feel like my baby anymore. I will miss having a baby around the house, so I need to cherish these times and cherish him. Here are a few funny pics.
20 month old pics
Disciplining Techniques. We have tried everything and this one seemed to work. This is where he spends time out. It drives him nuts to be tied up, but it sure works for the 2-3 minutes he has to sit there. We also just threaten him with "THE LEASH" and he seems to stop whatever wrong thing he is doing.
Packaging Tape on his diaper....so he won't take it off. This seems to work too because he hates the tape on there! So we just threaten him with "THE TAPE" and he runs away screaming.
My little buddy actually fell asleep on the couch playing the kids Leapster. This never happens, so I thought I better take a pic.
Crew just being silly and goofy!

Thanksgiving Weekend
Thanksgiving this year was really quiet and chill. We had dinner at Winnan and Norm's like we always do on Thanksgiving Day. It was super yummy. We had the normal Thanksgiving Stuff like turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. But then everyone brought some other yummy stuff. We brought some sugar cookie dessert pizza and some fudge. So good!
Anyway, the meal was awesome, as always. But Toph and Brit were not with us this year, so there were less people and Lynley and Chad's fam was down in St. George. So it was just us and Mandy/Regan's family. We also had a few aunts & uncles (Jan & Cheryl) and cousins (Missy and Marn) come too. So after we ate and cleaned up, everyone left but us. Mandy's fam had to go and eat at the in-laws house. And Matt left at 4 to go up Blacksmith Fork Canyon with some of his high school buddies. (They do it every year, but they usually do it Friday night of Thanksgiving Weekend. They ride 4-wheelers up the canyon and sleep in a warming hut and come home in the morning.) Anyway, this year they had to do it Thanksgiving Night to accommodate everyone. So it was just me and my kids Thursday night. We rented a bunch of movies, put Crew to bed early and had a movie night. It was nice! Way more chill than I am use too. We did miss Matt though. Kinda lonely without dad!
We did take some Thanksgiving Pics at the end of the day. Kinda of an after thought. That is why Matt is not in the pics.
Movie Night...Corey has been wanting to watch Titanic. So we rented Titanic and watched that. She was a little sad afterwards. Had to forward through a few scandalous parts I had forgotten about. But it was sad to know that all those people died and to see how the poorer class was treated!
Becca and Jr came up late Friday night and stayed through Sunday. We did some fun things. We went to the Jump Zone and acted like 16 yr olds. (Definitely felt it later. Sucks to get old!) You know your getting old when you do a front flip into the foam pit and afterwards feel sick and dizzy. Felt like a roller coaster. JR and Matt did not want to jump. Sorry we did not get them in any pics.
We also did a little Saturday shopping, not Black Friday shopping! We went to Novemberfest in Logan and a few other stores. Then that night we decorated the tree! Becca always likes to help us decorate our tree Thanksgiving Weekend. Think it might have become a tradition!
We also played a little soccer scrimmage Sunday afternoon after church. The kids like to do that with JR and Becca cause they are so fast and they have SKILLS! Thanks Becca and JR for coming up and letting us get a little Maughan Tradition in our Thanksgiving Weekend. Love ya!
Just Missing Grandma & Grandpa
Saw these shirts at Old Navy and thought they were so cute. We were just missing Grandma and Grandpa and thought we would post this for them. Not like I can get 3 kids smiling and looking at the camera all at the same time. Not the best pics, but its the idea that counts. Love ya mom and dad!
