In Logan, they do the fireworks every year on the 3rd so Matt was actually home to watch the fireworks with us this year. We just hopped in the car and went and sat on a grass field somewhere, waiting for the fireworks. We just bought a few sparklers for the kids.
(Fireworks are banned in our neighborhood again because its too close to the mts and could start fires.) So the kids did sparklers for 30 minutes or so and then we waited for the fireworks. They were nice, except that Crew was covering his ears the whole time and they weren't even loud from where we were sitting! He is such a character. So funny!

Then Matt headed to Alaska with his friends and his dad and Toph and my dad this time. They left on the 4th of July, so I went with Mandy and her family and Winnan up to the cabin in Star Valley, Wyoming. We got to see some more fireworks there too. We also go to go swimming and go on the bumper boats and just relax at the cabin. And we even had our very own chef that weekend...Regan Hoth. He cooked us up some good meals...All Voluntarily! It was so nice! And of course the kids were obsessed with the golf cart all weekend like they always are! We had a nice time! Love the cabin. It is so relaxing and nice to get away up there!
