It really is a joy to see your kids play a sport and get better as the season progresses. Cade also plays defense more than he plays offense and he is pretty good at it. He is too scared to play goalie, but he loves defense. He is still learning, but he has definitely gotten better this year. He is the younger of the players this year on his team, and so you can see a difference between all the 1st grade players and the 2nd grade players. But it has been so fun to watch him play this year. He really loves it! They have won all their games so far and have won by quite a bit. They have a great coach...Mike Heap that works with them and knows how to teach these kids. He is such a neat guy!
Cade is not much of a runner, but when he is playing a sport he does not seem to mind running. That is how I am too. But he is very confident about his playing too.... which I love. He is proud of himself after every game, even though he is not the best player. I think winning every game is also helping his confidence. Cade is very funny. He loves to play sports and loves to have a friend to play with, but he is not quite as competitive as Corey is. Hopefully he will get a little more driven as he gets older....not competitive, just driven. What is funny though, is that he is competitive with his sister, but just not others. Good kid!
