Even though we had, had a long week, we decided to go to Sea World with Steph's family because it was Taylor's bday and she was going to swim with the Beluga Whales. It was pretty awesome to watch her. She had to get in a wet suit and learn about what to do once they got in the water. So we checked out the polar bears for awhile while we waited for Taylor to start her class. Once her class started, it was about an hour and it was so neat! She was totally in her element, just loving it the whole time! Pretty cool bday present, if you ask me!
The kids went on a few rides. They loved this one. It's called the Atlantis. I opted not to go on it because you get soaked and I did not want to be wet all day. CA is not like Utah where you dry off in an hour. It is not as hot and dry there, so I knew I would be wet all day! The older kids loved it though.
We also went to a few shows. We did the PET SHOW. We did the Shamu Show and the best show of all was the Sea Lion Show, at night, wit BIFF! He is the funniest guy I have ever seen. He was such a good entertainer. I could seriously watch him all day! The sea lion show actually made fun of all the other shows at Sea World. So hilarious! The kids loved him too! They even got a picture with him afterwards!
The kids also loved the shark exhibit and the sting rays. And the little kids really loved the Starfish too! We also played in the kids play land, which I didn't love because Crew was too short, by an inch, to play on anything, and it was really hard to keep track of all the kids!
By the end of the night, we decided that our kids were done and had had enough! So we decided to go to a dance party they had there for an hour or so, grab some dinner, and the head home! Steph's kids and my kids love to dance, so it was fun to see them all dancing together.
It was a fun day! We decided to stay at Steph's that night and do a slumber party because there was really no other day to do it. But by the time we got to Steph's the kids were all so tired, they all just went to bed. Grandma came with us that day too and wanted to go home and sleep in her own bed, so Papa had to come and get her. But they wanted to see Steph's new house anyway. It is so pretty. It was fun to stay with Steph too and let the kids play and be able to chat and hang out! I miss Steph and our kids playing together. So it was hard to leave. Not sure when we will be there next!
