Kinda last minute, we decided we had not gone camping all summer and needed to do it. We love it. We just get so busy and it is hard to find a weekend to go. So we went up Logan Canyon to the Girl Scout Camp and camped out with Marsha and Dan and their kids. It did rain that night for about 2 hours. But we just hung out in the camper, made dinner in the camper, and then about 10:00, when it had stopped raining, we got the kids in bed, and the adults got to have a fire and chat. It was relaxing and so needed! I love campfires. All summer there have been restrictions on fires and they finally lifted that rule, and so we were excited to go up the canyon and have a fire!
The kids also loved the fire and we had to watch Crew like a hawk! Cade is really into fire too. So he worries me!
Crew was just kinda trouble the whole time. So Messy, but having a fun time. I think he fell out of the camper three times, did a scorpion out of the camper twice...(when they go face first and their legs go over their head...kinda like a flexible gymnast.)
Good Parenting....Crew has the fire starter! Kid gets into everything!
