Took the kids to Lagoon on Pioneer Day this year. The morning started out rainy, so we were not sure if we were going to go. But we decided to do it. And it was not crowded either, being a holiday! Casen is still stuck over on the kiddy rides. Crew is not quite big enough for the kiddy rides, or at least mommy doesn't think he is big enough for the rides. I worry about busy Crew at this age. I can just picture him trying to stand up on a ride and falling out. He is a crazy kid. And my two older kids have FINALLY ventured over to the big kid rides. So we just had to take turns all day going back and forth from big to little kid rides and mommy and daddy taking turns taking the kids on the rides. I do let Matt take the kids on all the Spinning Rides. I cannot do those.
This was the first year that my kids were actually Brave. They went on WICKED finally and COLOSSUS and The SPACE SHOT and THE SPIDER and a bunch more. I was so thrilled. I even got to go on a few of my favorites too. Matt did pretty good on the rides except he did get a little stomach upset after two spinning rides in a row. Crew did really good too. He fell asleep in the stroller for 3 hours which was nice. And Casen was so patient waiting for his turn on his rides. The kids were really well behaved and it was a fun time. But we were ready to come home about 9:00 PM and hit the hay....GO TO BED! Lagoon always feels like a long day!

Rattlesnake Rapids...the kids talked me into this....We got soaked and it was like 7:00 at night. It did take a little while to dry off. We were all still kinda wet for the drive home, but it was worth it!
