Mayors Soccer Cup in Bountiful

Corey's team had another soccer tournament, Labor Day Weekend, down in Bountiful. They have been doing so good lately. They got 1st place in the Park City Tournament. They got 1st place in the Strikers Tournament in Layton. This tournament they lost one game and it was the game that counted, so we got edged out. But they still played awesome. They team they got beat by was a Premier Level team that is 2 divisions above them and they only beat them 3-1. So they did awesome. They really are so cute together. They do have their drama moments, but they are cute! Olivia even got to come down with our family and the twins and guest play with us! She did great!

Grandpa's Annual Wellsville Party

It was the annual Wellsville Labor Day/Founders Day Party at Grandpa Allans house in Wellsville. They were talking about this maybe being the last party he has. Everybody's families are getting bigger and less and less people come every year because people are busy. It was kinda rainy this year, which is always kind of a drag. But it still worked out. It wasn't cold. My kids didn't want their sweatshirts on. But it was just kinda wet.

But my kids sure were excited for that parade! They love the Indians and cowboys and the tractors and of course the candy! They love that laffy taffy that just rots their teeth and makes our dentist bills outrageous!

Janice and Brett were there, like they have been the past 10 years, to help out grandpa. They are so good to do that for him! They know he loves this party and they want him to be able to have it and enjoy his family! It was really fun to visit with Brett and Janice and see a few of the relatives. Luckily the rain wasn't too bad, just a little wet!

Loving those Aggie Soccer Games

Our family has become quite the soccer family. My kids love playing it and we love watching it. We have even gone to a few Sky View Varsity girls games and a bunch of the Aggie Girls Soccer games. They are so fun to watch. I love soccer and wish I could play like those Aggie girls. They are pretty amazing! Corey always talks about "one day maybe making the Utah State team." It sure would be fun!

Summer Catch Up!

Holy cow! I just got caught up on ALL of the month of August! Busy month!

1st Day of School......A 5th Grader and a 3rd Grader

So summer is over for the kiddos and its time to start school again! I am excited for the kids and to get back to having a little bit of a schedule, but I am also sad because things get kinda crazy and we don't get to do as much fun stuff or have as much free time as we do in the summer!

But I can't believe that Cade is starting 3rd grade and Corey is starting 5th grade...Corey will be the oldest kids in the school! I think she is kind of excited about that..being the oldest!

Cade has Mrs. Bennett and Corey has Mrs. Olsen. Corey seems more excited about her teacher than Cade. Hopefully the year goes OK for both of them. I will get to meet their teachers this week at Back to School Night, so hopefully I like them too!

The kids are always excited for the 1st couple of days and then it wears off pretty quickly. But we saw them off that morning, at the bus stop, and it went great! They both looked so cute and grown up!

Casen is excited because he starts preschool this year, but he is getting anxious because he does not start till after Labor Day! I decided to only send him to 1 year of pre-school, for Crew's sake. So he will actually start kindergarten next year. But he is just super excited about pre-school and I can tell Crew is gonna be so sad when he leave three days a week and he can't go! Wish Crew could go too! He would love it! He loves being with Casen! Glad they are so close in age! But Casen gets to go with a few of his friends from the neighborhood, so he is excited about that too!

Camping at Cherry Hill

The week of Corey's soccer tournament, we decided to go camping at Cherry Hill. The first night I had to just drive Matt's truck down and put up the tent. He could not come down that night, so we just waited a night, for him to bring the camper down. So after Corey's game that day, which was really close by, we headed over to Cherry Hill and set up camp. I can usually put up a tent in 5 minutes, but freakin Crew broke my tent poles and so it took us 45 minutes to put up the tent, because I had to rig it to make it work. I was so stressed and ticked at Crew. I was sweating like crazy by the end of it and just wanted to jump in an ice cold pool. I seriously thought we were going to have to run to Wal- Mart and buy a new tent! But we managed and I actually liked sleeping in it that night. It wasn't bad.

But after we set up the tent, we hopped in the car and went out to eat for dinner and we also had to go and buy groceries. So it was a long day and I was excited to get back to camp, shower , and go to bed!

We had a cute family, from our neighborhood come and stay with us the first two nights. The Andersons came and stayed with us. Lance and Corinna have 3 boys, my boys ages, so it is perfect. Their son was in the soccer tournament too. But it was fun! We swam with them on Friday. And that night, after all the soccer games and swimming, we took the kids minature golfing. We love cherry hill. It is my kind of camping and there is so much fun stuff for the kids to do! They love it!

The 2nd night and thru Sunday, Toph and his family came and camped too. Brittany is prego with twins and she even came. What a trooper! It was fun to see Brit and Toph and their kids. And Mandy came down with Regan and Nan and their kids on Saturday to spend the day Swimming. That was the day Corey had her championship game, so we just joined everyone swimming when we could.. Corey actually had the twins, Regan and Ryley spend the night that night and Cade had Skye stay and spend the night too. So the kids had a ton of fun! They felt so grown up. We let them ride bikes alot. They went golfing alone..We had to keep checking on them.! Corey kept thanking me and telling me she was having so much fun!

Becca and JR came down Friday night to Saturday and spent some time with us. We love when they come! They even came to Corey's soccer game that next day too!

Saturday, our kids did these slides for hours.They love them! They are so fun! I even took Crew a bunch of times. And Matt took Crew too. Casen learned to go alone and he went with his siblings too. So fun to watch them be brave and have fun!
