Caderman Lost his FIRST TOOTH!

Cade lost his first tooth the other day. It has been loose for like 2 months. Corey lost her first tooth in Kindergarten, so I remember thinking Cade would too. It was loose that last couple weeks of school, but he just barely pulled it out a few days ago, with the help of his Aunt Lynley. She is a dental hygenist, so she is professional at pulling teeth out with dental floss. He was pretty excited. He kept wanting me to tell everybody we saw that day and the next day about his tooth. He even got $1 from the tooth fairy, but I think he was a little bummed he did not get $2, cause I guess Corey got $2 for her last tooth she lost. He sure is growing up and he has like 3 more loose teeth coming up. Exciting stuff! A little stressful for us parents because everytime one of my kids looses a tooth, I just think OH NO here we go...crooked teeth stage, and then the expensive braces stage. Why cant teeth just grow back in straight.  I guess we are lucky to have the luxury of braces. Think of the olden days when they just dealt with the mouth they were given... no help in the teeth department back then.

Matt's Annual Trip To Alaska

This was Matt's trip he just got back from in Ketchikan, Alaska. He absolutely loves this trip. The week after he gets back, he is always a little depressed and then once he starts planning for the next years trip, he snaps right out of it. No joke..he will probably start planning next years trip, next month. I feel bad because he loves Alaska and wants me to go there with him, but it scares me and I would rather go someplace warm. They wake up super early to fish, they do not sleep alot, alot of the time it is raining, and there are bears all around. That does not sound like a vacation. I told him I would go there on an Alaskan Cruise sometime with him instead.

But he had alot of fun. They fished in the boat and off the shore and caught a ton of fish. And I guess that Ammon and Nate were the chefs again. Sorry my husband does not cook or help out alot. I keep warning him that all his friends are going to stop going with him, if he does not help out a little. And I am suppose to get Nate's pancake recipe because my pancakes don't even compare to Nate's.

But he loves this trip and we sure missed him. He said one time they were catching so many fish in the boat that it started to fill up with water and they had to take the fish in or they might've sunk.

JD, Ryan, Nate, Matt, Ammon, Matt, Johnny, Dan
Steve Thatcher (Dan's dad) and Norm Thompson (Matt's dad)  were also there too.

He loves this trip and can't say enough good things about it. I can tell I married a mountain man and I am afraid he is going to move me to Alaska in the summer months when our kids get older.

First's

I just had to take this cute pic. Casen has had hair cuts before, but he was always sitting on my lap. So this was his first haircut..being a BIG BOY and sitting alone. I just thought he looked so cute and grown up. Matt was out of town and the kids really needed haircuts. He usually cute the boys hair, but I did not want to wait till he got home.

Then we decided to feed Crew baby food for the first time. He loved the first 5 bites and then after that, did not love it. It is so cute to see my babies do their firsts. But at the same time, it makes me sad because I think this will be our last baby and he is growing up way too fast!

And Crew loves to be outside. I rock him to sleep outside at night and we both love it!

Corey's Last Baseball Game

Corey had her last baseball game. She absolutely loves baseball and she was so sad it was her last game. She also loved her coach this year...Coach Kevin Duke. He was Cade's coach last year. He even asked if he could come to Corey's baptism. Such a nice guy!

She did great! She did get out again on 3rd base and cried, like she always does when she gets out, but other than that, she did awesome. We need to toughen that girl up if she wants to play sports. She hates messing up. She is kind of a perfectionist. It was kind of bitter sweet that baseball is over.... Glad because we have our summer nights open now and sad because it is fun to watch the kids enjoy a sport so much and it feels good to get out of the house and enjoy the parks. The kids are already talking about next year!

A Few More Fun Summer Days

So, yes Matt is still out of town and I have had to answer his phone for the business. This has been no small task, especially with 4 small kids. So Tuesday, his phone was ringing so much I decided we could not go and do something fun until after hours. At about 5:30 PM, we decided to go down to the Library . The kids have been bugging me to do that. They found a few of their favorites. Then we grabbed something to eat afterwards and then we decided to go and see Cars at the movie theatre. We went to the more low key movie theatre since I had all 4 kids by myself. Cade and Corey are easy and so is Crew. He slept alot in his carseat through the  movie, but Casen is a pain in the butt. I thought he would sit through Cars since he loves the first show. But he is a pain.....spilled the popcorn, wants to sit on my lap, walking all over the isles. He BUGS at the movie Theatre. I always get excited to take my kids to a movie and then afterwards tell myself not to do that again with the little ones. Then I get amnesia and do it again and afterwards think the same thing....Why did I just do that?

Then on Wednesday, I decided to meet 2 of my sisters down in Sandy and we went to this fun place called Classic Skating. They both had the day off from work and so I thought it would be fun to meet up there, plus I need some help with the kids. Too many kids to watch by myself. Anyways we had alot of fun.

I first stopped in SLC to see Beccas new apartment and then we met Em at Classic Skating about Noon. The kids played for about 3 hours...on the bounce houses, the Jungle Climbing Zone, the Ball Zone, the Skating Rink and the Arcade. Then we decided we only had 2 hours to swim and go on the water slides. SO we did that last. The kids had fun....they were sweating like crazy and my sisters got to do all the sweaty stuff like jump on the bounces houses and play in the ball pit. They are such fun aunts to the kids. Casen was so cute. He loved his little scooter we rented for the rollar skating rink. It was cute!

But our favorite part of the day, was of course the water slides. They look so ghetto, but they are the most fun slides I have ever been on. We took turns going with the kids and watching the baby. Even Casen loved the slides. We were wishing we had one more hour to play on the water slides, but we had to leave to get Corey back to her last baseball game. We want to go back soon. We love that place!

Few More Pics from CALIFORNIA- Sister's House

On my way home, to the airport in Long Beach, we stopped at Stephs House and let the kids swim and visited for a bit. I love my sis and miss her and her fam.
