Two Museums in 2 Days

THE TREEHOUSE MUSEUM WITH ALYSON & BRIDGER
This past week I have really been missing my siblings and my friends that I have not seen in awhile. I had a really hard week with  my neighborhood friends and so I was really missing the people that love me and want to hang out with me. My friend Alyson who moved last year, lives in Wyoming but occasionally drives the 2 hours to Ogden. So I decided to make a lunch date with her and our kids on Thursday! So we met in Ogden at the Kids Treehouse Museum and let the kids play while we chatted. We were there for a good 4 hours hanging out. We also stopped for some lunch too. It was so fun to see her and Bridger. He has grown so much! The boys loved it. That was the first time Crew has ever been there as a BIG KID! It was so fun to catch up! I miss hanging out with ALYSON and wish she lived closer!

This pic of Alyson and Bridger was a year ago, so he is a year older now, but we forgot to take pics together at the Museum.

THE SLC GATEWAY MUSEUM WITH AUNTIE EM

The next day, which was Friday, the kids did not have school because it was a Developmental Day. So we decided to head to SLC and see my sisters. Becca works all day, so we hung out with EM during the day and Em works at night, so we hung out with Becca at night.

Em met us at the museum at the Gateway Mall. We seriously stayed there for 4 hours. I would've been so bored if I did not have EM to keep me company. It was just fun to see her and catch up on LIFE's Troubles! I do not get to talk to her enough. Em and I are the most alike out of all my sisters, so it is fun to talk to her. We get each other! She is so cute with my kids too. They love her and her dog MYA! We also took a little break and went and got ice cream at DQ even though it was raining and freezing. I was really craving hot chocolate! Em had to say good- bye and head to work. So I stayed with the kids a little longer at the museum and then we were going to go and meet Becca after work.

We met Becca at her work. We actually followed her over to her Boss's house because she was dog sitting and house sitting. My kids loved this beautiful house and her cute dogs. We chatted for about an hour. Then we had to go and let EM's dog MYA out to pee. Then we headed to SKIPPERS  for dinner. We seriously stayed there for like 1.5 hours because the kids were entertained with this train/table contraption. So me and Becca caught to chat and catch up too. It is so fun to get together and hear about each others happenings. Its so funny that me and Becca are 8 years apart and can still be so close and such good friends! Love my sisters. Wish I could see them at least once a week. Salt Lake is still too far away! Had such a fun day! Missing Steph and Mike too though. Don't get to see them enough!

Did have to drive home in the pouring rain. Scary, but worth the visit. Feels good to get out of Logan once in awhile!

Kids Always Having Fun!!

Kids are so cute! They always have so much fun and make the best of everything. This night, the kids got to wish SKYE a Happy 7th  Birthday and join in on some of the festivities. They always have fun with Mandy's family and Sherri's family. We love you SKYE. Happy Birthday! It was a DISNEY FROZEN BIRTHDAY! SO CUTE!

This occasion was one Sunday after church, during the time the Winter Olympics was on every day! So Corey made her own Winter Olympics for the boys. It was so cute! They had the LUGE, SPEED SKATING, SPEED SKIING and HOCKEY. It was so fun! She had a points total and trophies and metals. So cute! They loved it! It kept them busy for like 3 hours. SO NICE!

Fun Girls Night Out!

My sister in law Mandy and her neighbor and friend Erica came over on a Wednesday night, after dance carpool to surprise me and take me to dinner. GIRLS NIGHT OUT! Winnan even came with them to babysit my kids. It was so what I needed. That day, I had had a really rough day, AGAIN, with some friends in the neighborhood. It was being left out again, on a second trip, with some girls that I thought I was really close to. It was an emotional day to say the least. And Mandy got wind of it from Matt, Norm and Nan. That night Matt was invited to the JAZZ Game down in SLC and I didn't want him to miss it. So I was going to be alone all night with my kids. So Mandy, being the sweetest sister in law ever, surprised me. It was so nice! We ate and talked and ate some more. They made me feel so special. This is what friends do! Love ya girls! You are so good to me!

Special Days in February

Corey and Cade wore their special shirts to school one day in February, along with the rest of their school. They are supporting a little boy at their school that has cancer. So sad!! And so glad my kids wanted to take part in it and support him!

Valentines Morning...the kids all got a stuffed animal monkey and some candy before school today from MOM! They were all so excited to go to school and exchange Valentines and bring home some candy. Corey will kill me for saying this because she was so embarrassed, but some boy in the 5th grade got down on one knee and gave her a huge box of chocolates. She turned bright red, her little friend Tyler told us. She does not like to talk about it. Its so embarrassing!
