CATCH UP TIME

I have been super busy the last 2 weeks, so I am finally caught up and have posted 5-6 posts.

Havoc's Energy is Finally Back

Corey's Competitive Soccer Team has finally gotten their MOJO back. The girls did have a very hard schedule their first 4 games, but they lost all 4 and I was beginning to get frustrated because we all know that they are better than that. Last fall they did so well and played so well together. So finally, yesterday, they played the AGGIES and beat them 6-0. I was so thrilled. They got their confidence back. It was so fun to see them finally playing together and playing like they did in the FALL. Hopefully they can keep up their confidence and keep playing together great and maybe winning a few more! (I don't know why I was letting their games affect me so bad, but it was driving me nuts that they could not get it together.) So this was good for me too!

Corey did so awesome at DEFENSE this game that they want her to start playing defense more. Matt and I were talking last night and we both played FORWARD and MIDFIELDER as kids/teens, so it is funny that both of our kids play DEFENSE so well. Cade also plays defense. But Corey looks so tiny and skinny and she can boot it so hard. I was never a real strong kicker, but she sure is!

As the Havoc girls would say....WERE AWESOME, WERE CRAZY, WERE HAVOC.

A Hot Weekend Night

We had an awesome and WARM weekend and it is only APRIL. I shouldn't get too excited because I am sure it is going to snow next week, but we had to enjoy it while it lasted! I love the warmth and the kids wearing shorts and playing outside. I am so ready for summer! So my kids took advantage of the warmth of the afternoon and spent the rest of the day outside and playing with water...in the sprinklers and with water guns!

Crew - 15 months

Casen- 3 years old

Finally doing STEPS! YEAH!

CoreyCoos- Almost 9

Cade- Just turned 7

Casen Crying- Brother shooting him with water!

Crew-Getting hit in the face with water, by Cade.
Crew loved the sprinklers as long as he was not getting too wet!

Corey's Getting More Brave

I was so proud of my Corey-Coos. She came home from school about a month ago and told me that her and the twins wanted to do one of their dance class numbers for the Greenville Talent Show. I was surprised that she was going to be that BRAVE and wanted to dance in front of her peers. So they practiced their dance for about a week and had to change a few things. Then they had try-outs with the 3rd graders after school one day. If they passed the tryouts, which they did, then they got to do their dance for the assembly for the whole school. So out of about 12-15 3rd grade acts, 3 acts got chosen and they were one of them. They were so excited.

Then the actual assembly had a mixture of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders that had all made it past the try-outs. There were 12 acts and they were all cute, some funny, and some actual REAL Talent. Corey and her cousins did really well. The kids all got to vote and the next day they would announce the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. She was pretty sad when she came home to tell me that they didn't win anything, but that is just FINE! They were so cute and did so good and that is all that matters. They did a cute JAZZ number to COME FLY WITH ME (Michael Buble version)!

Matt tells Corey that she needs to try and do things out of her comfort zone every once in awhile. And I think she accomplished that here. So PROUD!

Cade's Birthday Celebrations

Cade was so excited for his birthday this year. He was more excited about the presents than anything, but aren't most 7 year old kids? His birthday fell on a Wednesday, so I let him open some of his presents sporadically through out the day...a few before school, a few after school, and a few before his birthday dinner. This bike was a present from Matt that he brought home for him. It was a little big for him, but he will grow into it. Matt was pretty excited to give it to him! The bike has no pedal brakes, so it might take a little getting use to, for Cade.

Cade chose to go to Chuck-a-Rama for his birthday dinner. I love that place cause it has great food and my kids actually eat there, but I always overeat and come home feeling disappointed. Once again, I ate too much and so did the rest of the family. Cade was actually still 6 when we went out to eat, so he got the 6 year old price. He was not born until 8:52 PM. So we really were being honest!

We actually all ate too much at Chuck-a-Rama, so we decided to save the ice cream and birthday cake for the next night. That was a much better idea.

Cade's new trend he loves are football cards. His favorite are the Dallas Cowboy cards.

I did let Cade choose 3 of his friends to take to the Fun Park with him on Friday night. It actually turned out great and was WAY easy. He took Mathew Anderson and Owen and Traeg Bunderson. They had pizza and played lazer tag. They also each got some tokens and played games and played on the FUN ZONE. We were there 2.5 hours and they still were not ready to come home. I was though. Matt was out of town and so I had no one to talk to and was BORED! I made a few friends that I chatted with, but 2.5 hours at the FUN PARK is long enough for any mom. I was surprised though at how well Casen (3 years old) keeps up with the older kids and I was surprised at how well Crew (15 months) did in the stroller. Usually he wants out of the stroller and wants to be walking around, but he did awesome. I think my kids do well in BUSY, NOISY PLACES. They are people watchers like me and it keeps them entertained!

I think Cade's birthday celebrations were a hit and he was HAPPY!

My Caderman Turned 7

My Caderman has actually turned 7. Can you believe it? He is growing up right before my eyes and turning into his dad every second of the day. He loves boy stuff like tools and knives and guns and his new thing is football cards. He is also into dumpster diving like Matt and bringing something home if is still looks in great shape. He is also growing into more of a tease everyday just like his dad. But he is like his mom in that he is still pretty lovey dovey for a 7 year old boy. He loves to snuggle and give hugs!

Cade was born April 18th, 2005 at 8:52 PM (I know I am a few days late on posting this) and he was my biggest baby 7 lbs. 14 oz. He was also my baby that tried to come 9 weeks early and I had to be on bed-rest for 8 annoying weeks. So he caused me the most trouble then and I think he might cause me the most trouble as he gets older. He just has such a carefree personality that he is not careful. And he drives me nuts with his teasing followed by his innocent "I didn't do it"  demeanor.  Gotta love him! Happy Birthday Bud!

What the Heck?...as Casen would say!

So as Casen would say..."What the Heck?" Is this not the grossest ever? I was working out the other day on my stationary bike and I saw these sticks poking out of the CLOSED BBQ and I wondered what they were. I opened it up to this and was so grossed out! The weird thing is that the bbq was closed and locked down to the fence post. So the birds were coming up through the back. They built a massive nest. I was just glad not to find eggs in there too.

Last year this bird tried to build a nest in my front timbers in the entryway and I think I knocked it down like 15 times. He just kept coming back and kept trying to build a nest. DUMB BIRD. DON'T YOU GET IT? This year he chose the bbq.

Anyway, birds kind of annoy me...They started annoying me when I was pregnant and this stupid bird kept singing they same DAM tune every morning. I seriously thought I could strangle the bird if I got my hands on him. And ever since then, I just don't see birds the same. They are ANNOYING! Oh and they poop all over my favorite deck in the backyard. They really are just a nuisance.

Finally a Warm EASTER

We were in Logan for Easter this year, which I guess we usually are. But Winnan is still injured from her fall, so we were trying to figure out what to do for Easter, this year. Well Matt's sister decided to have her baby Tyke blessed that day and a luncheon, so it actually worked out perfect and we ended up just counting that as our Easter Dinner. And all the family was there, except for Lynley and Chads' family who were down in St. George. It was fun to visit with everyone and watch the kids do their little Easter Egg Hunt. I think we gave the little ones too big of a head start. They were way faster than we thought they would be.  It was a long day with Crew because he is so BUSY that he is hard to watch and keep track of, but other than that, it was NICE!

We decorated Eggs earlier in the week and the kids had a contest...I was the Judge, who's eggs landed in the HALL OF FAME EASTER BASKET! They made little monsters this year. They turned out pretty cute!

We actually got lucky too because Mandys church started at 11:00 instead of 9:00 like ours. So earlier in the week, I had my kids give Matt and I the EASTER lesson, since we would be missing it that day in  church. They did a pretty good job. I wanted them to be thinking of it on Easter. Then Easter morning we had a little more time to do our Easter Egg Hunt and get ready! It was funny to watch Crew. He was not into the eggs, just the plastic wrappers with candy in them,  laying all over the floor upstairs. I had to remind Casen how to hunt for eggs. But Corey and Cade were naturals....always competing with each other. The Easter bunny even left some dollars and quarters in their eggs this year, instead of so much candy. And the EB also left a cute little toy for each of the kids. Corey was the most excited about hers. She got tickets for me and her to go to the BIG TIME RUSH CONCERT, in Provo in July. She was so excited. I guess her cousins got the same thing from the Easter Bunny too! So they were all so excited!

(Finally a new haircut! So needed!)

OK REALLY? Worst Easter Pics ever. The sun was so bright,(which I am not complaining), that I could not get my kids to take any decent pics, especially Casen. And they just wanted to play...NO PICS MOM! I was just loving their Easter outfits I found, that I wanted at least a few pics of them!

We had Cade take our pic, well I guess I forgot that he is shorter than us and this angle is just not flattering, but I was over it because Matt was over it! Turned out OK! Holiday pics are always a joke in our family. Almost impossible!

Of course, I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked, but Regan gave a very special and nice blessing and Tyke looked so cute!
